Nine Dragon Bathing The Baby Buddha- According to recordation of Buddhist scripture, Sakyamuni, the creator of Buddhism, could speak and walk as soon as he was born. He walked seven steps towards east, south, west, north each. At every step the ground yielded a lotus flower. Pointing to the heaven with one hand and pointing to the earth with another he said: In the heaven and on the earth, only I am the most venerable. At this time two square ponds suddenly appeared in the garden and nine dragons approached in the sky and poured out water streams to bathe Sakyamuni.
This legend makes thoughts throng one's mind. At Lingshan Buddhist Scenic spot, the group of large sized dynamic musical sculpture "Bathing by Nine Dragons and flower revealing Buddha" reproduces the magnificent scene in the story. 
Lingshan Grand Buddha- Lingshan Grand Buddha is the open air copper standing statue of Sakyamuni, the creator of Buddhism. It is 88 meters high and more than 700 tons of copper was used in casting it. It is a large artistic treasure which integrate with culture, art and religion. The statue is made in accordance with records in the Buddhist scripture. The Grand Buddha is affable, looking upon all living creatures with smile. The gesture of his right hand means to get rid of pains and the gesture of his left hand represents to render happiness. The front of the whole statue is solemn, full, peaceful and delicate, showing the merciful image of Buddha.

Lingshan Buddhist Scenic Area is a special theme park of Buddhism. As the well-known brand of China tour, it has become the symbol of Wuxi tour. Among them, the most thrilling, the most impressive scene is Nine Dragon Bathing The Baby Buddha, a group of large-sized dynamic musical sculptures, the only one of its kind at home and the first-rate in the world. It vividly reveals the sacred and grand scene that "flower ushered in the Buddha "when Sakyamuni was born according to Buddhist scriptures. The artistic creation and the impressive scene make visitors forget to leave.
