Shanghai Wild Animal Park is located in Nanhui District,about 35km from Shanghai downtown and covering an area of 153 hectares. This park was opened to the public on Nov.18,1995. It is also one of the first AAAAA national scenic spots. About 10.000 animals of more than 200 kinds of representative and rare animals form the world were gathered in SWAP, such as giraffe, zebra, antelope, white rhinoceros from foreign countries, and national prior protected giant panda, snub-nosed monkey, Siberian tiger.
The park is divided into 2 parts, bus visiting area and walking area. In the bus visiting area, you can see gentle giraffe, elephant --the biggest mammal on land,  cheetah-- the most fast animal in the world with the high speed of 110 km per hour,  African lion---the king of beasts, clumsy bear and majestic tiger.  In the walking area, you can enjoy the world rare animals such as white lion, white tiger, white kangaroo, giant panda, Chinese alligator and so on. The interesting thing is that you can have a photo with alpaca camel, zebra and elephant, which is really a good experience. In the small animal garden, you can hug the small animal, feed lovely monkey, and witness the process of birth of the miracles with your own eyes.
In the animal show area, you can watch all kinds of animal performance such as beast training, the exciting performance of tiger and lion on the same platform and world-class sea lion performance. All these performances will bring you great astonishment and excitement. Newly-built greyhound racing and Mongolia horse racing will be another attraction to feast your eyes.

    You can pay 45yuan for a seat in the coach for the above people.
    But the admission is excluded,you may buy it at the entrance.
